Akai Professional & 12 Bit Soul have teamed up to deliver the MPC Expansion DEFinitive 90s R&B . 90s R&B represents the rapid rise from genre music to mainstream cultural and commercial dominance over this transformative decade. Forever intertwined with the sounds of Rap/Hip-Hop, there isn’t one pervasive sound that defined the era, but more so an emphasis on eclectic style blending. A rapid parallel evolution in artistry and music technology ensued in a short period of time, propelling us on a journey from the organic dusty breaks of Golden Era Hip-Hop to New Jack Swing to iconoclasts like Sade coupled with the meteoric rise of the Dirty South, retrofitted Neo Soul stylings, and the arrival of the Shiny Suit Era, where Hip-Hop moguls and superstar divas were born. This expansion captures that moment in time as R&B continued its progression alongside Hip-Hop. - 1.59 GB of high quality sounds. -40 kits featuring 100+ 90s inspired composition loops and well over 500 one-shots sampling sounds and gear of that era: horns, piano, organ, keys, strings, synths, live bass, guitar, and dusty vinyl & crisp digital drums to represent the fast-evolving sound of the decade. Inspired by the iconic sounds of Andre Harrell, DeVante Swing, Teddy Riley, Eddie F., Kyle West, Puff Daddy, to H-Town and many other classic 90s RnB producers and artists! This new MPC Expansion is more than a homage to that era, but simultaneously looks back while moving forward. Packed with 40 x MPC-ready constructed Drum kits packed with 90s warm, punchy kicks, Crispy Snares, Claps and Rims to silky RnB melodics created from classic analogue synths of the era! Also included are 24 x MPC Keygroups carefully created and processed using the finest outboard gear, delivering smooth leads, pads, and basses with a deep rich tone while sprinkling in a few that carry otherworldly vibes. This time out.......12 Bit Soul completed a final mix on our drums -one-shots and loops- using high-end outboard and their very own AMPlify™ plug-in to give it that extra vintage punch. We provide the paint; how the painting is created is now up to you!
